I am thinking of taking Alli, I need some advice??

I also take 112 mcg of levothyroxine for hypothyroid, which I have been taking for 3 yrs. after being diagnosed with hypothyroid 8 mnths after the birth of my twins. I cannot lose weight and I am doing weight watchers and excercising, I am only 25, so it shouldn’t be that hard. I do have an appt. with a new doctor, I cant stand my old doctor, it is an internal medicine doc, I am going to see if maybe they can up my levothyroxine dose, even though me blood work comes back “normal” I still have some hypothyroid symptoms, I was also going to ask her about Alli, does anyone have any experiences with Alli, and what are your thoughts on it?? I really need to lose 20 lbs by Sept. 6(i am in a wedding) which
I think is possible, I am also starting the Firm workout. Just let me know what you think of all of this?? Are there any prescription weight loss drugs you think the doctor could prescribe me? Thanks alot!

Alli is the ‘new’ over-the-counter weight loss aid developed by GlaxoSmithKline. Alli has been blitzing the internet and other media outlets with commercials and advertisements. Alli’s main ingredient, orlistat, is used by Xenical, (Zenical). The main difference is that there is twice as much orlistat in Xenical than in Alli. So don’t let the FDA Approval fool you, it is there for marketing purposes, and these companies know this.

I have talked to many people who have tried Alli, and if you research it you will find that many people are having similar experiences with its side effects. Mainly, incontinence, gas, and oily anal excretions.
Sorry, I think I just threw up in my mouth a bit. So as a bonus of taking Alli, you are guaranteed a ‘Party in your Pants’, you will the quintessential Party Pooper. There are TONS of diet supplements out there that do the same thing as orlistat without the messy side effects. Phase2 has been clinically proven to prevent the absorption of starchy calories, along with green tea, hoodia has been shown to control cravings.

With all of the marketing hype, store displays, commercials etc., Alli is focusing on how ‘easy’ it is to lose weight without doing work. Well, you know as well as I do that there is never an easy fix. Every supplement should be accompanied by a healthy diet and exercise.

If you are looking for gassy, oily explosions and uncontrollable urinary drips and leaks, and the slight chance of having this diet pill work for you, then go for it
