Best Way To Lose Weight Around Waist

Will “they” decrease as I lose weight + 2 more questions about wk’g out?
I gained a lot of weight a few yrs. ago after taking an anti-depressant. I almost lost it all, then injured my back (herniated disc). I already had bad knees f/a bicycle accident. Since my back injury I’ve gained the weight back f/before, plus much more. I started working out 2 wks ago- I walk fast and bike at a gym, w/a few weights. As I gained weight, my breasts got bigger- I hate them- they’re heavy & uncomfortable. (I know, men- hard to believe!) Will I lose the weight in my chest as I lose weight? I’ve already lost 10#.
Also, how do I lose the fat or “tire” around my waist (I cannot do regular sit-ups bcuz of my back)?
I use a weight machine designed for that- how many do I do to get my tummy down & toned? One more thing…what is the best way to get “rid of” my butt?

Let me give you some non-advertisement advice. Yeah, you don’t really target specific areas to lose weight– it just doesn’t work that way. You should lose weight all around as you start shedding the pounds. I just had a laminectomy, and my doctor advised me to start walking a minimum of one mile a day (building up to more, obviously).
Watching what you eat is great– counting calories actually helped me so much because I never realized how MUCH “healthy” food I was eating. I’d eat turkey, but I’d eat like three portion sizes of it, so I thought I was doing good but was still packing on the calories. I counted calories for about a month, keeping up with everything I ate, measuring out the portions, etc. until I finally got to where I could correctly portion my food without having to count anymore.
I also use exercise videos– Leslie Sansone’s Walk Away the Pounds, an awesome video called Balocity, and Billy Blank’s Tae Bo, Boot Camp, and other videos, among others. My parents love Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper doing the Biggest Loser DVDs as well.
If you lose the weight you want and your breasts are still large (some people’s breasts are so large that it causes back problems), you may need to consider a breast reduction, especially if they seem to be causing your back problems to re-flare.
