Counting Calories To Lose Weight Calorie Calculator
How many calories should I be eating to grow taller?
I’m 13 5’9 and 3/4 and I weight 157 lbs. I am hoping to grow to become really tall, I used to be 215 lbs, I lost the weight, get a good amout of exercise every day, and count my calories, cause I don’t wanna gain weight. I just what to know about how many calories I should eat a day to be able to keep growing taller, but I don’t want to gain any fat of course. I eat about 2700 calories a day now (That’s what the calorie calculator things tell me to eat.) But that is for adult men. I just want to stay in good shape and become really tall hopefully. Thanks in advance.
I eat 2,700 calories because thats what I have to eat to maintain my weight at 157 5’9 and 3/4 and I am very physically active, I lift weights, play basketball, and use an exercise bike. I’m just not sure if I should be eating 100-200 more calories since I’m a teen and still have many more years to grow (Hopefully.) Because it takes protien and calories to grow, since calories are really energy.
I don’t know what that “calorie calculator things” is that you refer to, but 2,000 calories a day should be plenty good for you. Instead of counting, shoot for a balanced diet, and get your exercise in….
There are no “get taller” foods, or diet strategies out there. Eat well, exercise, and let your own biology do its thing.
