what can i do to improve my diet and lost weight?

so, it’s my first semester of college. less than 2 weeks less. i’ve gained maybe 5-10 lbs throughout the semester, but i’ve been working out maybe 2 times a week to not get too fat lol. my bf is deployed and getting back in early april, and my goal all along is to be in the best shape ever then.
i would like to be around 135. Right now I’m around 150. I’m 5’6. This summer I was down to 140 and I was really happy and felt like 5 more pounds and toning would be perfect.
Today I ate:
breakfast: oatmeal.
Snack: 2 energy balance bars
peppermint mocha when i was in the library
lunch/dinner: subway (6 inch turkey on wheat with veggies) and recees (sp?) peanut butter cup
after workout: cheerios with soy milk and plain nonfat greek yogurt and an orange (all i have in my dorm room lol)

what can i do to eat more healthy? right now i’m going to try to do 30 minutes of cardio every day and eventually get back to running.



If sounds like you already eat incredibly healthy!!! if you want to lose more weight (not that you have to at all), you should eat boiled eggs/ cottage cheese/ peanut butter or some sort of protein with your oatmeal. It would be a good idea to omit the energy bars for a banana and some nuts or something. Energy bars have a lot of sugar and other yucky ingredients. If you start running, you will be more hungry so you’ll to eat more– just warning you. The best thing you can do for yourself it eat really high calorie, but NATURAL and healthy foods in the morning so you won’t end up eating reeces and such later. Also, replace the mocha with some tea. NO SPLENDA though.
